I’m an occasional mountain biker – fair weather mostly, but I have been known to ride in the snow (seen below).
I ride a 2005 Kona Hoss seen here:
I bought the Hoss off a friend after he’d had it for a couple of years. He managed to get it round Whistler and come out of it in one piece, true testament to the strength of the bike, and the ability of the rider!
Since this picture was taken the pedals have been replaced with white DMR V8′s and the tires are now Maxxis Ignitors.
Also on board:
Marzocchi Dirt Jam 2 forks, Hayes HFX 9 XC brakes, Shimano Deore groupset with outer ring removed and FSR bash guard in place, Truvativ bar, Truvativ Hussefelt stem, Truvativ cranks, Alex Rim DM24 wheels.
Some of the following shots are hosted on the Kona Bicycle Co. Facebook page (linked on the side menu):

We had a fair bit of snow at the end of 2010, but that just made the journey to work more interesting!
Got there to find only one other person had bothered to go in, and he lived outside of Lincoln!
